In September 2024, Australian Industry Group (Ai Group), Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and the Business Council of Australia (BCA) submitted a joint letter to the Hon Andrew Giles MP, Minister for Skills and Training, highlighting the importance of a balanced Australian Apprenticeships Incentive System (AAIS).
Included for consideration were six recommendations to boost commencements and completion rates, and increase the number of qualified workers available to help overcome Australia's critical skills crisis.
