Australian Industry Group Chief Executive Innes Willox has announced the appointment of Dr Caroline Smith as the new Executive Director of the Ai Group Centre for Education and Training.
"Caroline commenced with us in January and has contributed in an engaging and highly collaborative manner since then," Mr Willox said.
"She has an extensive background in skills and workforce development, tertiary education and employment policy.
"Caroline is passionate about future-focused policy and has spent time working with government, industry and the community sector on these issues in Australia and internationally.
"I am sure she will do an excellent job leading the Centre and working closely with the team to deliver their strategy and objectives."
Dr Smith replaces Megan Lilly, who leaves Ai Group to take up the role of a deputy commissioner of the Federal Government’s Jobs and Skills Australia.
